The favorite toy is the most prized possession of a child.Photographer Gabriele Galimberti Toy Stories gathers the treasures of children around the world he was collecting for 18 months of work.
1. Maudy - Kalulushi, Zambia

Maudy lives in a cottage in a small village in Zambia.At school, children from 3 to 10 years study in the same class and play together in the street.Only a few have toys.So when they found a box of sunglasses they became their most precious possession, but also their favorite game.
2. Chiwa - Mchinji, Malawi
Chiwa lives in a small hut with her father, her mother and sister.They have no electricity or running water. She has three toys, but her favouriteis the dinosaur because he says he can protect her from dangerous animals.
3. Li Yi Chen - Shenyang, China
Li Yi was born in a big city in the northern part of China.His favorite toys are firearms.He loves to put small boxes on the table and shoot them.He also enjoys playing with the yo-yo because his favorite cartoon character uses it as a weapon.
4. Alessia - Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy
Alessia was born in the field and his family owns one of the largest farms in the region in Italy.He loves to play with animals and helping his grandfather work on the farm.With its toy tools works also helping to feed the animals.
5. Noel - Dallas, Texas
Noel wants to be a pilot and only plays with airplanes. Hisfavorite fun is to put Lego toys in his great boing, blow them into the garden and, after giving them a bath in the pond, bringing them back home.

Tyra lives in a nice wooden house in Stockholm with her parents and sister.His favorite toy is a red kitchen.Sometimes she cooks for her sister on it.
7. Arafa & Aisha - Stone Town, Zanzibar
Arafa and Aisha are twins, have the same clothes, sleep in the same bed, go to school together and share toys.They live in a house with two rooms which are bedrooms; kitchen and living room are out.The picture above the closet is a portrait of President of Zanzibar.
8. Bethsaida - Port au Prince, Haiti
Bethsaida lived with his family in a house in the capital of Haiti until an earthquake shattered.Although his parents are deaf, fortunately she is not.Now they are living in a camp set up by an association that helps deaf person, so that 90% of people who lives around her can not hear or speak.All the toys she has have been donated to the association. As she likesto be a hairdresser, she loves to play with her doll, but her sister has cut part of her hair.
9. Botlhe - Maun, Botswana
Botlhe has only a toy, the monkey, but almost never plays with him.Rather go out and play with friends who live very near his home in a residential complex where there is a bathroom for every four homes.
10. Taha - Beirut, Lebanon
Taha was born in Palestine but lives in Beirut with his family and other refugees.In order to have water and electricity, they are connected illegally to the public service.As he only has a toy, he has found very easy to choose his favorite.
11. Puput - Ubud, Bali
Puput born at home in Bali.She never knew his father who died when her mother was five months pregnant.She hasn´t many toys, but she plays with these plastic balls and bowls.She places them on the floor in a triangle and pulls the rubber ball against them.
12. Virginia - American Fork, Utah
Virginia lives with her Mormon family in Utah.She loves to play baseball with his brother and take care of her favourite goat.
