When we talk about Robert Capa it is inevitable to think of photojournalism, black and white images that illustrate conflicts such as the Spanish Civil War, as the famous photographs of the fallen soldier. He masterfully portrayed the Spanish conflict on all fronts, a job that make him go down in history as a war photographer. But Capa is more than war and black and white. From the 40s he began working regularly with the colour film paper, first, portraying American and British soldiers during II World War, photos that were never published because the color development was very slow.

A exposition shows now on the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid this layer colour photographs along with others of the social life of the time, very wisely photographed by Capa who wanted to portray colour to capture all its nuances. Thus we find in the file scenes ski resorts in Switzerland or the Alps, photographs of social and cultural life or images of models. None of the photographs had been exhibited so far in Spain.

The CBA also host the November 14 conference linked to the exhibition on war reportage by Emilio Morenatti (skilled). Until January 15, 2017 at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
