Ren Hang the young promise of photography whose success could not prevent a premature death

"Every year I ask the same desire: to die before", was one of his last post in the most popular Chinese social network. His macabre desire has been fulfilled a month before turning 30, the controversial and promising Chinese photographer, Ren Hang, could not, according to sources of his environment, overcome the depression that he suffered and he has taken his own life in Berlin, where he was for work.
He died young and in the highest of his career, when the popular publishing house Taschen has just published a book dedicated entirely to his work.
As a legacy he leaves his production, praised by his millennial contemporaries and critics, and censored by the Chinese regime for considering it pornographic.
