Ivette Ivens has become the photographer for breastfeeding. Her photo-book The Breastfeeding Goddesses is a manifesto of intentions in which she shows the beauty of breastfeeding. Ivens, mother of two children who breastfed for a long time, is a strong supporter of breastfeeding anywhere and until the child and mother want.
In her photographs she shows artistically mothers breastfeeding their children since, she says, it is altogether totally normal that it should be possible to do from a sporting event to a high-end designer store. Likewise, in her opinion, there are no limits to the end of breastfeeding, only mothers and children should decide when to wean.
That's why she is showing mothers breastfeeding children of all ages, including more than one at a time and in all kinds of locations, especially public places like the street, to claim that there is no limit to naturally feed children.
