A new life for children's toys as part of pieces of art

AT > BLOG

Everything related to childhood usually has a halo of a certain nostalgia, even more the world of toys that telescopes us to our happiest moments. If to this sensation we add the beauty of some impressive landscapes, we obtain as a result the mixture with which the artist Vincent Bousserez plays in his last series, called precisely "Nostalgias".

Rubik's cube is cast as a monolith to become one more element of the landscape.

The Slinky Pier is dyed the color of the landscape to integrate in it.

The matrioshkas seem to be lining up in this Russian establishment, in their homeland.

The stackable hoops share space with the trees in the garden but they bring to it color and nostalgia.

As in previous works, the artist plays with dimensions to create new realities inspired by his environment and his travels around the world.
